Great ornamental willow which is excellent in providing winter colour with rich yellow to red rods. Can grow up-to 7m with very attractive yellow-red annual growth, with the colour improving the more pruning is done. In early spring, wonderful yellow catkins appear providing an early source of food for pollenating insects. Thicker stems can be used for larger weaving projects or living structures, and the thins can be used for basketry - providing a lighter contrast when dried.
