White Welsh is a great basketry variety - when dried, it is a lovely cream colour which gives a good colour contrast in basket and weaving projects. It will grow up to a height of 1.5m/5ft, and a rod diameter of 8mm. When coppiced annually it will take at least couple of years to give a good amount of rods. In addition to being a basketry variety, it cuts well in the summer to provide great foliage for floristry projects
